spiritual growth is not the advanced accumulation of facts about God nor the ability to recount these facts perfectly and in order. spiritual growth is the increased conformity to the material likeness of Christ through obedience that comes from heart faith.
Spiritual growth is the result of an increasing dependence on the grace of god. only the inner working of grace consented by us and appropriated by us through the power of the spirit's life in the heart can create a godliness that fallen man does not possess.
