modern life

dont really like

"modern life" - busy, breathless, a
million meaningless distractions
coiling,
waiting, lurking around every unseen
corner

to pounce!
and snag your mind, take
your time, your life away.

pretty soon we find that we've missed out on life because He is life. we christians might be the greatest fools on earth because, the greatest treasure in the universe (Jesus) belongs rightfully to us. we are the only people on earth that can say, "i truely am rich - because to me rightfully belongs the pearl of great price, the diamond of the universe, desire of nations." He is our precious possession.

He waits right under our noses just to enjoy Him and yet, its. so. hard. to take a moment or two to turn aside from what we're doing to appreciate His presence...

i dont like this busy-every-moment-produce-all-you-can in a single breath and jump to the moon with your brief case and neck tie -life. really need. to get a life...

Sky's the limit!

obedience and the pleasure of God

1Sam 15:22

So Samuel said:

“Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,
As in obeying the voice of the LORD?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
And to heed than the fat of rams.

as hands were laid on me yesterday, the word was : " ask God for the grace to surrender completely to Him, that obedience will become a joy."

let my all my pleasure be God's pleasure. His pleasure is in obedience.

thoughts on the heart, responsibilities and the purification of the heart

My heart is desperately sick…

Charles Spurgeon said: “the heart of man is an idol factory.”

Knowing my own heart, it is absolutely impossible to change it short of God’s miracle. That is the miracle of sanctification by faith in jesus. its like getting born again - over and over again through believing in him, the supernatural nature takes over the natural. My own habits, thoughts and motives give way to His heart, His ways...

In wartime or trial times there are clear objectives. Seldom do your priorities get muddled. Survive, defeat an enemy or die. The goals are clear and we prioritize god - just to survive.

However when we come out into freedom, the evil in our own earts muddle god’s priorities. Remember King David. It was not during the trials in the wilderness that he failed or fell, it was in times of peace and stability. Where the cares and pleasures and temptations of this world start to creep in.

Peacetime and God’s promotion might be the greatest of all trials and tests. The test of our character and the true nature and quality of our hearts is exposed with authority and promotion.

The weight of our responsibilities do help - in that they remind us while undertaking them to keep our heart pure, do this or that with a right motive, that we might please God in them. Thus helping to purify our hearts.

In times where we seek to escape our responsibilities, like David who stayed behind to escape, when it was time to bear the burden of warfare, we are apt to be tempted and distracted from our God’s purposes and goals and when we lose sight of them, like Samson, we become blinded by temptations and fail.

True desire

wrote this quite some time ago... will post this as a reminder

i haven't blogged in a really long time because no heart clarity for some time now already.

His answers to my doubts:

I know what kind of God He is. I know Him. and that He's mightier, lovelyier, more gracious, more glorious than what i think He is. and because I know Him, and what Kind of God He is, I know my life will be filled with His glory. i know that my life will not remain as it is.

it dosent depend on the times and seasons of miracles. and it dosent depend on me. it depends on who.

Who He is and i speak with Him and live with Him He is my God of miracles and my life has changed irreversibly.

Like moses who stood on the mount and said: LORD, show me Your Glory, O like him I say Lord, show me who you are and what you are like. show me your glory!


What i really really really want to do with my life:

1. play music

when i get to heaven the first thing i recon i'd do after meeting Jesus is go straight to heaven's music music school to learn to play every instrument there is. want to play the songs in my heart : - every note and chord i hear in my mind with any and every instrument unto Him.

lord teach me keyboards and how to use my electric guitar want to learn: scales on the guitar and basic keyboard...

2. preach the gospel

i already have nothing to live for in this life apart from Him.

i feel like i am already poor to the poorest, bare to the bones, and have nothing to lose.

if i live this life and never tell anyone about Him, my heart will be dissatisfied. my life will be just frustrated meaninglessness.

i want to tell people about Jesus and that He loves us that he loves me and that he would love others too, if they would hear and listen to the good news.

Break into a new world

How I long to set my feet in crystal clear waters.
Dip my hands in deep and cool.
Feel the soft lush emerald grass beneath my feet
A carpet for a king...

Breathe fresh and free air,
Cleaning up my mind,
Refreshing me -
Deep.

Deep down in my soul,
Where I need it most...
Where it used to be foul and musty.

How I long to be there,
I'd rush there to meet You,
Not just a visit,
Not just a short stop
In this life's boat trip...

But to land fully.
Immerse myself slowly into waters blue...
Set both my feet firmly planted
Into that place where everything is real,

Where everything is fresh
About me and in me
around me,

To enter in with you...
As fresh as a new born blade of grass
Dripping in the morning dew
A glow of glory on the horizon,
Golden streaming rays of sunlight
Through the perfect green canopies that shelter,
Safe forever in His arms,
Where we glow bright
With Joy always.





Do i long for heaven? or do i long for somethimg more on earth... a paradise illusive. my heart ever seeks this place of healing.

Down in the river Jordan

In this place,
The river of the decent.
Is where I died
And my old self washed away.

Where You dipped in and arose -
Is where I find my life anew.
And your love fresh,
For me.

I look up and see Your face,
Hear the Father's loving voice.
They're smiling down on me.

In these waters
My sin stains washed away
In a flow of blood and water,
Of the thorns and nails and
Spear that pierced His side.
My Savoir
that came down for me.

This is where i find grace like a river
decending down to me.

Carries me on His shoulders...
Into the land of rest
I enter in.

The Mind: His jurisdiction in the new covenant...

Among the witnesses and convictions of the Holy Spirit in the new covenant is this much missed one lying in Hebrews 10:

Verse 15, 16 : But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before, This is the covenant that I shall make with them after those days says the Lord: I will put My laws in their hearts and in their mind i will write them.

One of the convictions that He comes to deliver to us believers is that He is constantly directing Our hearts and minds. It is a Covenant responsibility on His part on which we rest in His power to 1. give us confidence and establish our hearts that He is the one who constantly renews our hearts and not we ourselves, thus allowing us to turn to Him and recive rest about our minds; and 2. give us Spirit inspired thoughts day to day.

paul says He witnesses to us that He puts laws in our hearts. i can see why the spirit would want to witness to us that He is in charge of our hearts and minds. because we are so prone to taking that upon ourselves. even paul is in need of the spirit to tell him: hey now, im in charge of this. rest and receive my guidance.

i'm beliveing that this mental rest and confidence will grow stronger with prolonged turning to the Spirit and a contant waiting on Him to make this very witness; a major part of what the Spirit comes to tell us (because if you notice there aren't many holy spirit witnesses in the NT probably no less than 10).. and if this is one of the major witnesses; we can trust Him to give us this assurance that he is in charge of our minds and then receive the divine guidance in day to day living instead of relying on our fleshly minds from day to day...

Isa 30:20, 21 yet your teachers shall not be removed into a corner any more, but your eyes shall see your teachers. And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left.

Father, we thank You for this witness of the Spirit. Spirit we ask that You be the one to strengthen Your witness to us that You are the one in charge ofour hearts and minds and no;t we ;ourselves and so bring us into Your land of rest in this area.

We ask and receive divine guidance in the day to day of our lives. divine thoughts who knows what wonderful things You will show us... it Is Your very covenant with us. Make Youir teaching and guidance primary no more secondary, no more sidelined, we live by Your covenant, we live by Your rhema to us. we receive it in Jesus name, amen.

Victory is our covenant position in Christ

Our enemies will never triumph over us...

The Father had His Son take the beatings, oppression and place of defeat on the cross for covenant reasons for us.

The Father then raised HIm up and gave Him all victory. and the same Victory manifests outward through the substance of Jesus' very presence within us.

Because Jesus agreed to take our place, we can take His place.

We, in Christ, as we take our covenant position in Christ possess that same victory.

2Co 2:14 Now thanks [be] unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Jesus' very righteousness kept Him perfectly sound, safe, protected, and oppression free. His Righteousness given to us, as a grace gift. when Received by us confers the same Victory unto us

Isa 54:14, 15 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. Behold, they shall surely gather together, [but] not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD.

Isaish spoke of a new covenant righteousness only possibly given and received when Jesus Died on the cross to transfer it. The new covenant allows no space for defeat.

I heard Him say this: "I had given one Son up to be bullied so that you (the rest of His sons) would never be bullied."

If you could see...

If you could see with eyes of the spirit
You would see glory all around.
Clothed in Robes of righteousness,
See the full glory of Christ shining within.

The Father preparing a mighty blessing
to pour out on you and I.

If you could see through His eyes - in your heart
You would see the colours of His love for us.
Surrounding, turning about us,
You would see us as most blessed.

See the healing that had already begun,
The flowers blooming in full glory
In the strength of the seed that had been sown.

If you could see with spirit eyes behold
Our Mighty God and angels waging mighty battle;
for our mighty victory.

With spirit eyes see and eat at the table of fellowship
Of the Father the Son and Holy Spirit.
In pleasure divine, eternal.

If you could see with eyes of faith,
You would see our futures safe and most blessed
In His hands.

Who's your Daddy?

I've got a Father. My Abba Father ;) i was lost and an orphan but now He's my daddy and i have everything because He's my daddy. He was the one i was looking for all this while and He's the true Father, my true Father and Father of all.

praise the Lord.
Blessed be the name of Jesus.

Abba, Daddy. i thank You i have you. in Jesus, where i stand, there is no distance between us because You clothe me with the righteousness of Christ and my sins, judgements and curses He has totaly removed! and I am totally redeemed and favoured with His favour given to me.

thank You for Jesus' Glory which He has given unto us. You make us one with You in Your glory. You are our glory, the glory of Your children. our glory is Your goodness the goodness of Your fatherhood unto us. Thank you. Thank You for the perfect intimicy and perfect unity with You which You have given to us.
amen.

Joh 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: Joh 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Tiredness has to go

I'm believing God for zoey life.
that kind of 12 basketful leftover abundance of life,

overflowing prosperity in soul wealth

that the cost of living my school life will be just a fragment of the abundance of the storehouse of life that flows through for me, for me and my family....

fullness of favour and of health.

Abba, we thank You for the abundance of life and health now! we receive it! , as the righteusness of Your Son and our savior Jesus Christ,
Tiredness, we speak to you to leave us and never come back in Jesus name! we speak the time and season for our healing and restoration NOW in Jesus name!
thank You Father let Your grace flow as Rivers of living waters. rivers of grace abunance of Your heavenly favour in every area. We receive Victory! as Your lve gift to us we praoclaim that we are the Victoriously blessed In Christ! we thank Your for mighty forces of PEace and JOY working within us! Retoration Be in Jesus name. we thank You and continue to proclaim the greatness of You and Your power in our lives amen...

C.R.I.C: Complete Rest In Christ

I want to come to the place of completeeee rest:-
where it all depends on Him or nothing at all
Its the place where He's free to do all things in and through me.

I can't hold on to Your truth, Your truth has to hold onto me.
A deeper, not necessarily newer revelation of the things that i know.
Truth that will change the whole way i live, breath and see.
living in revelation - revelation that will change the very reality that i live in.

the logos is spiritual reality - enjoying it and speaking it is the rhema.

giving thanks and praising God for the Logos reality is rhema. so is confessing and living in a righteousness conciousness. praise the lord

Reduce me to rest, receiving and thanksgiving
where all my life is supported by You or nothing at all
i rest all my life on Your strength
a Christ centred life
i rest because it all rests on You....
